Artistic Director Shannon Geier from Because Why Not? Theatre Company joins the podcast to talk about her upcoming production, 'Fat.' Inspired from real life experiences and real life statistics, Shannon discusses her original play, as well as why she took a chance running her own company at a later stage in life. Between being a mom and working full time, Shannon never gave up on her dream, and eventually made it become a reality. Don't worry, St. Louis based comedian and motorcycle expert Lucas Hinderliter casually brings some to this episode while discussing why comedy and the need for speed are two of his top pursuits. Telling the story about how he crashed and had a wild injury, it's clear that only a true comedian could spin off this tale into a hilarious set to get audiences (and host Mollie Amburgey) laughing uncontrollably. Winning the title of Funny Bone Comedy Club's Funniest Person in St. Louis in 2018, Lucas has also performed around the Midwest, in addition to selling motorcycles and riding his own.
